Q.  What areas of the country do you complete lighting projects?
A.  Even though we are based out of Western Pennsylvania, we have completed projects from coast to coast.  We typically stay within a 500-mile radius for most projects (PA, NY, MD, VA, WV, OH, MI, IN, NJ, DE, CT, KY)  However, we will travel farther for larger-scale projects.  Contact us for more information about your particular project or facility.

Q.  Do you hire subcontractors for your projects?
A.  No.  We do not subcontract our projects.  On occasion, we may work in conjunction with a local electrical contractor to insure that all local permits and codes are met, but our crew chiefs are always on-site, as our reputation is on the line on every project, we prefer if we handle every issue ourselves.

 Q.  What brand lighting materials do you supply?
A.  Our best pricing is from Philips lighting for lamps, we also directly supply Advance ballasts, Universal ballasts, Howard ballasts, Lithonia fixtures, Lumax fixtures, EPA fixtures, Lightwings lighting fixtures, TCP compact fluorescent and many, many more.  However, if there is a specific brand you would like to utilize on your turnkey project, we have connections for great pricing for all brands and can accommodate your needs.

Q.  Do you do new construction projects?
A.  No.  We are retrofit only.  We can, however totally re-design a lighting system in an existing facility, installing new conduit, j-boxes, and even panel boxes where needed.

Q.  What is your price for retrofitting a 2'x4' fixture?
A.  We prefer to price projets on a case-by-case basis and do not have set "per fixture" prices that are applicable across the board.  Please contact us for specific pricing for your project.

Q.  Can you complete a project in a hospital/plant/supermarket/school (etc.)?
A.  We can complete lighting retrofit projects in any commercial or industrial facility.  In the past 23 years we have been in every type of building, seen just about every type of lighting, wiring, fixture mounting.  Our vast experience really pays off when a quality, efficient solution is needed to a specific need of a facility.

Q.  What all does your "turnkey" project include?
A.  Everything.  There are no hidden costs.  We would be responsible for everything from product to recycling to waste disposal to hardware. 

Q.  National Lighting used to have a catalog of energy efficient lighting products to purchase?
